Changshu City has 135 kindergartens, including 61 provincial excellent ones, and 131 primary and secondary schools. 7 regular senior high schools are the provincial 4-star ones. The main teaching indicators of senior high school have been among the top in Suzhou City for 13 consecutive years.
The whole city has 600 medical and health organizations, including 2 tertiary general hospitals, 1 of which has passed tertiary Grade A general hospital acceptance, and 1 tertiary Grade A hospital. As hospitals accessing to overseas patients, Changshu No. 2 People’s Hospital and Changshu No. 1 People’s Hospital could provide convenient, efficient and high-quality medical services. Improved social security system. Changshu City has built a diverse elderly care service system, and realized a proportion of 38 elderly care beds for every 1,000 senior persons and full coverage of “15-min health care service circle”.
